Names with an asterisk appear only in the receipt book and not on the stone. Monumental Inscriptions are normally transcribed from headstones in the churchyard, Plinths or plaques in the church.

The aim of this project is to gather together information regarding cemeteries and graveyards in the county which either have available transcriptions or have been photographed and transcribed. Memorial Inscriptions. All 'Avon' church and churchyard memorial inscriptions have been recorded, together with known nonconformist burial grounds and some cemeteries.
The records include some burial register entries for Holy Souls Catholic Cemetery at Arnos Vale, Broadmead Baptists and 18th century affidavits for burial in woollen shrouds.

The North of Ireland Family History Society (NIFHS) has a large collection of transcriptions of graveyard inscriptions in the Randal Gill Library.
